Interview à propos du Live au Hard Rock Café de Jakarta

Je sais que le live remonte au mois d'Octobre mais je viens juste de le trouver sur Tumblr. Le temps de le traduire pour son qui préfère en français, le voilà! Enjoy! (il peut y avoir des fautes en français mais aussi de mauvaises traduction, excusez moi...)

This year is a big year for the Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta. The restaurant chain, known worldwide for its rock memorabilia decor, first expanded into Indonesia 20 years ago in Jakarta before opening a hotel in Bali a year later. The restaurant has seen years of success as people line up to see their unique decorations and eat their good food.
Cette année est une grande année pour le Hard Rock Café de Jakarta. La chaîne de restaurant est connu dans le monde entier pour son décor rock immémorable, débarqué en Indonésie il y a 20 ans à Jakarta avant d'ouvrir un hotel à Bali, une année plus tard. Le restaurant a connu des années de succès avec des gens qui viennent pour foir les décorations uniques et manger de la bonne nourriture.

To celebrate the restaurant’s 20th anniversary since opening its Jakarta location, the restaurant held a special concert featuring one of Japan’s best known rockers, Miyavi. The concert celebrated not only the Hard Rock Cafe’s anniversary, but the rich legacy rock music has left the world’s culture. To help showcase rock’s influence on culture, Miyavi was chosen to show how rock music has no borders; anyone can enjoy the sounds and styles of rock no matter where you live.
Pour célébrer le vingtième anniversaire du restaurant depuis son ouverture à Jakarta, il a tenu un concert spécial avec une des rockeurs le plus connu du Japon, MIYAVI. Le concert ne célébrait pas uniquement l'anniversaire du Hard Rock Café mais aussi le riche héritage de la musique rock.

JpopAsia had the chance to interview Miyavi before performing, giving us insight into his his short stay in Indonesia.

JPA: Before you came to Indonesia, what was Indonesia like in your imagination? After you came and saw it, what is your first impression?
JPA : Avant de venir en Indonésie, comment imaginiez-vous l'Indonésie? Après être venu et vu le paus, quel est votre première impression?
Miyavi: My image of Indonesia was “very kind hospitality”, and now I know I was right!
Miyavi : Je trouve que l'Indonésie est "une hospitalité très aimable", et maintenant je sais que c'est bien!

JPA: What is the story behind the super-minimalist group with Bobo? How was it formed?
JPA : Quel est l'hitroire du groupe, super-minimalist, avec Bobo? Comment a été sa performance?
Miyavi: I just wanted to focus on playing the guitar and what I needed else was just the beat, I mean drums. Eventually we succeeded in cutting the expense on the tour. lol
Miyavi : Je suis juste resté concentré à jouer de la guitare and j'avais besoins en plus du rythme, je veux dire de la batterie. Eventuellement, nous essayons de réduire les dépense sur le tour, Lol

JPA: You’ve had many collaborations with musicians lately. Who else would you really want to collaborate with?
JPA : Vous avez eu plusieurs collaboration avec des musiciens c'est dernier temps. Avec qui voudriait vous vraiment collaborer?
Miyavi: Prince.

JPA: Will there be a chance to form a band again with many members like in “Kabuki Era”?
JPA : Y aurai-t-il une chance de former encore un groupe avec plusieurs membres comme "Kabuki Era"
Miyavi: Of course! I really enjoyed myself with those talented, high-skilled musicians in my crew “KABUKI BOIZ”!
Miyavi : Bien sur! J'ai vraiment apprécié d'avoir ces musiciens talentueux et habiles dans mon équipe les "Kabuki Boiz"!

JPA: What did you think about the super band “S.K.I.N”? What if there’s a sudden call from Yoshiki to hold a tour together with S.K.I.N?
JPA : Que pensez-vous du super groupe "S.K.I.N"? Que feriez-vou s'il y a un soudain appel de Yoshiki pour faire un tour ensembre, avec S.K.I.N?
Miyavi: That was definitely a cool moment. He called me on my B-day.
Miyavi : Ce serai définitivement un bon moment. il m'a appelé à mon anniversaire.

JPA: What is your biggest dream that you want to do with music?
JPA : Quel est votre plus grand rêve que vous voudriez faire avec la musique?
Miyavi: I just wanna get rid of the anxieties from people as much as possible.
Miyavi : Je voudrais juste débarasser les gens de l'anxiété autant que possible.

JPA: What do children mean to you? Do they effect how you compose music?
JPA : Que signifie "enfants" pour vous? Ont-il des effets sur comment vous composez votre musique?
Miyavi: A lot. They gave me an another appreciation for life, and that obviously affected the variety of music I do.
Miyavi : Beaucoup, il me donne une autre appréciation de la vie, et cela affecte la musique que je fais.

JPA: Do you have any plans to make your daughters become a musician too?
JPA : Avez-vous des plans pour faire de vos filles des musiciennes aussi?
Miyavi: It all depends on them because they have their own lives.
Miyavi : Cela dépendra dépendra d'elle parce qu'elles ont leur propre vie.

JPA: What do you want to do the most in Indonesia?
JPA : Que voulait vous faire le plus en Indonésie?
Miyavi: Definitely….. massage!
Miyavi : Sans aucun doute.... Des massages!!

JPA: If you could be a superhero, who would you be?
JPA : Si vous deviez être un super héro, qui voudriez-vous être?
Miyavi: Batman, don’t you wanna?
Miyavi : Batman, vous ne voudriez pas?
